Still processing the latest world news- the demise of a terrorists. We see that the -"Live by the sword, die by the sword" is still true today. His current status was expected.

Now what shocks me about the deal is how the task was carried out to a tee. I just wonder how much coordination it took. From the secrecy, security, logistics, planning, preparation, location, communication, etc....

How in the world was this done?!!

Been Thinking About Lately- Freedom

We take so much for granted here in the U.S.A. When I see the people in the Middle East and Northern Africa demonstrating for freedom, it just hits home hard that this thing called freedom is a universal want/need/state of mind. I'm grateful to live in America.

WikiLeaks-Controlled Espionage?

Wow! I have just one question, if everyone is so against WikiLeaks, why is every news agency on earth re-publishing their info? I tend to think if it acts like a duck, it's a duck and WikiLeaks is acting like it has the go ahead from somebody high up to publish this info. I guess I'm a cynic, but I know the real "State Secrets" are no where near being published anywhere. Everybody needs to relax and realize this is not the big deal the "media" would have us believe.

iPads, iPods, iPhones and the NAACP

Alright, first this is a blog that is strictly my opinion. I'm sitting here in a corporate coffee shop (Starbucks-where else since it's now free!) and thinking about how we are all connected with all of these new toys and still we can't get it right. We are still blinded by our own biases and "refudiations".(<==bow to Palin I love it!) Anyways, we are all still so quick to rush to judgment with iPhones in hand. It is just toooo funny!!! Here I am in the tech world, hoping all of this techno stuff makes things better. I'm so proud to be a part of IT and then here we go. Bottomline, the NAACP should have taken the high road and vetted the stuff that comes in from FOXNews, right-wing blogs, and anywhere else for that matter, before just jumpin' out their pants and zappin' this poor woman, Shirley Sherrod. What a missed opportunity to show how NOT to rush to judgment! Instead, the NAACP has been caught with their mouth open and nothing coming out, not even a "refudiation"!(OK, enough.. I'll stop now....(smile))!

New iPhone 4g

I don't know what all the buzz is about. Jobs is right about his phone, it is cool. But until he gets that the network his phone rides on is not so good, his rad phone won't help that bottom line much. I believe he has all the market share he's going to get until he gets that! Thinner is better. The new apps are cool. But look, even he had problems doing his presentation. When he asked the audience for suggestions during his presentation stumble, someone yelled out "Verizon!"...ooooooh...!

What if years from now, you could be at the outdoor mall working on your blog and your friendly neighborhood robot could be home making that pasta you promised hubby? Sounds good? Global Social Media/Global Social Fallout

Yesterday I was reading the news. There it was, Hugo opened his Twitter account and now has 100,000 followers. Immediately, I was jealous. How does one get 100,000 followers in 1 hour?!! Never mind that he is a notorious dictator who has invited Fidel and Evo to join in. What are the social implications that?
