Global Social Media/Global Social Fallout

Yesterday I was reading the news. There it was, Hugo opened his Twitter account and now has 100,000 followers. Immediately, I was jealous. How does one get 100,000 followers in 1 hour?!! Never mind that he is a notorious dictator who has invited Fidel and Evo to join in. What are the social implications that? Hey folks, it's a brave new world out there with Internet social media applications that are by default-Global. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Here is a link below to the story==>
